The foundation of the Motion 2026 is a Hybrid Core construction, delivering a lightweight board with a stiff yet flexible character. That is the biggest improvement over the Motion 2025. It translates into quick handling with a stable and controlled feel. Naish has also equipped the Motion with a Keel Lock Spine, which maximises the water channels across the base for more pop off the water and smoother landings.

The 3 Stage Rocker is perhaps the most striking feature of the Motion. This rocker is designed to absorb chop while maintaining solid upwind performance. When you edge into choppy water, the Motion cuts through it calmly. The advanced 3D shaping with channels on the base and a deck shape that connects your stance directly to the fins gives you extra grip exactly where you want it.

The asymmetric G-10 fins measuring 4.5 cm are specifically designed to increase rail grip, giving you more control when edging. A practical detail worth noting is the centered inserts. The Haptic Handle makes board-offs much more accessible, and with the optional 15mm risers you get a little extra room to play. The centered inserts are a smart practical addition: if one rail wears down over time, just flip your pads and keep riding on a fresh edge.
