Quiksilver Marathon Sessions 6/5/4 Frontzip Hooded 2026 Wetsuit
Hooded winter wetsuit for the coldest sessions with Quiksilver
Five degrees, strong wind and an empty beach. Those are the days the Quiksilver Marathon Sessions 6/5/4 Frontzip Hooded 2026 Wetsuit is built for. While your mates are at home on the couch, you are still out there, because this wetsuit from Quiksilver simply keeps the cold out.
That starts with the hood. It is attached to the suit, so there is no open seam at your neck for a shot of ice cold water to shoot through on every crash. Your head and ears stay warm, and that is exactly where you lose heat fastest in winter. Relaunching your kite, going down once in a while, just carrying on: you barely notice it in your body temperature.
On the inside sits a Primaloft Warm lining. It feels soft and fluffy the moment you pull the suit on and holds on to the heat you produce yourself. Just as important, the lining does not soak itself full of water. That keeps the suit feeling lighter during your session, and it is not still dripping wet in the shed the next morning.
A thick wetsuit that locks you up is useless, so the Marathon Sessions is built in Stretch Flight Eco neoprene with a Champion Stretch outer fabric of recycled nylon. Your arms go above your head without any effort and your knees keep bending where you need them to. For a 6/5/4mm, this suit moves with you surprisingly easily.
The seams are finished with Power Seam on the outside and reinforced with NNT tape on the inside, plus Melco spot tape on the highest stress points. Everything is bonded with water-based Aqua Alpha glue. You can close the frontzip in a few seconds with cold fingers, and it runs across your chest instead of your back, so nothing presses against your harness.
Do you want to keep kiting this autumn and winter instead of staring at the forecast and skipping it anyway? Then the Quiksilver Marathon Sessions 6/5/4 Frontzip Hooded 2026 is the wetsuit that adds a few months to your season. Order it in time, because the first cold day always comes sooner than you think.
