An impact vest is certainly not an unnecessary luxury. The Gem Impact vest from Mystic protects you against hard crashes on the water. Around the Gem impact vest are thick foam rubber pads sewn into the impact vest to absorb the crashes. Your spine is extra protected with super stiff NBR foam. The bottom of the Gem impact vest has no padding so you can wear your harness over it. In addition, the bottom is slightly tailored so that the Gem impact vest fits perfectly. Besides that the impact vest protects you against hard blows, it also gives a little more buoyancy, but the impact vest is not suitable as a buoyancy vest.The Mystic Gem impact vest is made of the super flexible M-Flex 2.0 neoprene with a Knitflex outer lining for extra flexibility. The inside of the Gem impact vest is lined with Flaremesh so that the impact vest dries quickly. The front zipper makes impact easy for everyone to put on.
