The North Navigator Gen2 Bar takes the trusted Navigator and lets the tech from the Pro line loose on it. What you get is a bar that feels safer, more direct and easier to handle. North proves that accessible and high-end go together just fine.

You feel the difference the moment you grab the bar. The new grip is the most comfortable North has made so far and it handles wear better, so it still looks sharp after plenty of use. The tactile offset finger bar lets you feel whether the bar sits right in your hands, even without looking. Inside the bar stick sits a fibre-reinforced polymer truss from the Pro, which makes the bar 20% stiffer and lighter at the same time. That means it spins back quickly after a rotation and feels great in the hand.

Safety comes first. You reload the Safe Connect V2 quick release with one simple click. Thanks to the stiffer security finger, the smaller loop and 20mm of extra travel, the chance of accidentally unhooking or releasing is smaller than on the old Navigator Bar. The Connect V2 Modular Toolless InterLoop system lets you switch between three loops without tools: the Freeride loop is included, while the Freestyle loop and Surf Slider are sold separately. That way you set the bar up for your own style.

The line set is made up of 100% Dyneema SK75 lines from Liros in 1.8mm. They're pre-stretched and wear-resistant, so your feedback stays crisp and your lines won't shrink. The Navigator Gen2 keeps things simple with a rotating leash ring that neatly untwists your landing line. The 22m lines split at 12m, so you can swap the top 10m for an 8m, 6m or 2m extender. The smoother trim system with circular cleat base rolls back evenly and wears less. You can adjust the bar width by 5cm with the rotating cassettes, so you decide how fast your kite turns.
