Quiksilver Highline 5/4/3 Frontzip 2026 Wetsuit
Highline wetsuit that raises the bar from Quiksilver
The Quiksilver Highline 5/4/3 Frontzip 2026 Wetsuit is built for the months when most kiters have long since packed their gear away. A highline is literally a rope strung up high that you balance across. This wetsuit balances too, but between warmth and freedom of movement, and that's exactly the balance you need when the water drops into single digits. With the Highline, Quiksilver sets the bar a lot higher than you're used to from a winter wetsuit.
The entire inside is lined with PrimaLoft BIO Stretch. That lining holds on to your body heat, stretches with you and absorbs little water. You notice it most at the end of your session, when you're still warm, and the next day, when your wetsuit isn't hanging there soaking wet and freezing cold. For most kiters that's the difference between carrying on in January or calling it quits until March.
The neoprene itself is LAVIPRENE, based on limestone instead of petroleum. It feels soft, springs back well and stays supple for longer. The Champion Stretch nylon outer stretches in every direction, so your shoulders stay free at the bar. The 5/4/3 build does the rest: the thickest neoprene sits around your torso where you want to hold heat, the thinnest on your arms where you want flex.
The seams are glued and blind stitched on the outside, so the needle doesn't go through the neoprene and virtually no water gets in. On the inside, NNT reinforcement tape runs over the seams and Melco spot tape sits on the highest stress points, where a wetsuit normally gives out first. The glue is water based Aqua Alpha. The frontzip makes getting in and out of your wetsuit easy, keeps water out better than a back zip and gives your back full freedom of movement.
Want to keep kiting through the coldest months without shivering your way back to the beach after twenty minutes? Then the Quiksilver Highline 5/4/3 Frontzip 2026 Wetsuit is a serious contender. Warm, supple and neatly finished in the places that actually matter.
