The ION Rashguard LS Surf Shield is developed for watersports enthusiasts who are frequently in contact with sharp fins, foil blades and edges. The HPPE material, also used in ballistic vests and firefighter uniforms, provides certified cut resistance at level 4 out of 5 according to EN388:2016. This is not a marketing claim, but a European certified standard. The tight fit works perfectly as a standalone top or as a base layer under a wetsuit.

In addition to cut protection, the rashguard offers UPF 50+ sun protection for longer sessions on the water. The Slip_Loop connects the top to your shorts or pants, keeping everything in place during a wipeout.
