Harlem Line Splitter
Effortless switching between low-V and high-V setup
With the Harlem Line Splitter you instantly give your bar more versatility. Its smart screw-on design lets you mount this splitter directly onto a thin power line without taking the line apart. This makes switching between a low-V and high-V setup super easy, ideal when you use different kites with different line geometries. The Harlem Line Splitter is perfect for riders who want flexibility without buying a new bar. The best place to mount it is on a splice or reinforced part of the line. It works fine on a regular section too, but it may cause faster wear. For optimal durability, slide the splitter a few centimetres up or down every 10 to 20 sessions or use a protective sleeve between the line and the splitter.
The ideal position for Harlem gear is between 5.5 and 6 metres above the bar. You can also use the splitter to reduce friction on your back lines. In that case mount it just above the point where your steering lines cross. This pulls the front lines together instead of the back lines, which helps prevent rotation issues. If you use a stopper on your power line, make sure it passes smoothly through the splitter or mount the splitter above the stopper towards the kite. This ensures your flag-out system continues to work properly.
