The Mystic Motion 5/3 Frontzip 2027 Wetsuit is built for the sessions where the water starts to cool down while you're nowhere near done with the season. The 5/3 combination isn't one you see every day: 5mm neoprene on your torso, where you lose most of your heat, and 3mm on your arms and legs, where you want to keep full freedom of movement. That gives you the warmth of a winter wetsuit without your arms feeling heavy when you unhook or halfway through a long downwinder. Mystic literally keeps you moving.

The biggest upgrade is on the inside. The Fox Fleece Ultra is the softest and warmest thermal lining Mystic has made so far, half of it built from recycled material and easy to spot by the new two-tone finish. The outside is made of recycled XTR stretch material that stays flexible and can take a beating. The 3D pattern gives you a tighter fit, and the better the wetsuit sits, the less cold water flushes down your back.

Keeping water out starts with the seams. The panels are glued first and then blind stitched (GBS), so the needle never goes all the way through the neoprene. On the inside, 70% of the seams are finished with water repellent stretch taping, strong but flexible enough to move with you. If some water does get in during a crash, Aquaflush 2.0 works as a one way street: the water drains out and doesn't come back in.
