The Flysurfer Heli kite is designed for kitesurfers who want to enjoy riding after their first sessions and start learning how to jump higher. This kite combines the accessibility of an all-round freeride kite with your big air ambitions. The direct steering input and predictable feedback give you a lot of control over the kite and make relaunching easy. Flysurfer built the Heli using high-quality materials, so you can be confident it will handle all your crashes with ease. The kite sits forward in the wind window and converts gusts into controlled forward drive, making it easy to ride upwind and gain height quickly.

We already mentioned it briefly, but the Flysurfer Heli is technically very well designed. The frame is made from strong Dacron combined with Teijin D2 double ripstop canopy material. This makes the kite both durable and highly shape-retentive, resulting in stable flight characteristics and better protection during hard crashes. The Free Flow² valve system with bayonet closure and push-push mechanism makes inflating and deflating extremely easy. Larger hose diameters and improved valves help you get on the water faster. The 5-point bridle system with Ronstan pulleys supports easy relaunch and smooth turning in the air. As a beginner, you can easily relaunch the kite using one steering line, while more advanced riders can also perform a reverse relaunch using two steering lines. The Back Main Line Adjuster on the kite allows you to fine-tune bar pressure and steering forces to your personal preference.

Compared to other kites in the Flysurfer line-up, the Heli offers the best overall package and is more general-purpose than the rest. Compared to the STOKE, the Heli is more accessible and comfortable without sacrificing power. The ERA is more focused on kite loops, while the Heli steers more easily and remains more stable, making it a step below looping-focused performance. The INDIE, ideal for foiling and light wind, cannot match the superior jumping performance of the Heli. In short, while other kites focus more on specific disciplines, the Heli is the versatile all-rounder for every kitesurfer. The Flysurfer Heli is available in 6m, 7m, 8m, 9m, 12m and 15m and comes standard with a universal kite bag, repair kit and safety guide.
