The Select SLS, Jaime SLS, Soleil SLS, and Spike SLS are made using full carbon construction, incorporating all of Duotone's expertise in one construction. To achieve the best possible performance, each board has its own SLS version with focus on lightweight and playfulness. To minimize weight to the maximum, the top deck uses the patented Spread Tow Fabric. The bottom uses 45-degree diagonal Biax Carbon to guarantee maximum pop and grip.

Duotone D/LAB Construction
Products with the D/LAB logo come from the Duotone Laboratory and are made with the most innovative construction techniques. Duotone Premium Performance Construction (twintip)
The most advanced construction in the line is specially developed for the TS Hadlow boards and the Team Series. A 45-degree bi-carbon layer under the foot pad surface provides very smooth but comfortable flex and also gives the board maximum durability. This construction was developed for competition-oriented riders by the best riders in the world, focused on extreme grip and pop, even without fins!

Duotone Premium Construction (twintip)
The Premium Construction boards Jaime, Select, and Soleil feature Carbon Beams, where parts of the fiberglass are replaced by unidirectional carbon strips to noticeably improve the board's performance. This results in faster and even more progressive flex for better pop and lower weight.

Duotone Double Diffusor bottom (twintip)
The Double Diffusor breaks the water surface on landings and delivers grip and precise feedback from the board. The Double Diffusor also provides good control under all conditions with a sporty character in all conditions. With the Double Diffusor, harder flex patterns can be used within the board without losing comfort. The harder flex delivers better pop, making it a winning combination. By breaking the water surface during landing, the Double Diffusor ensures smooth and direct flow from the board. This provides control and comfort when landing, regardless of how fast you're going.

Duotone Light Team Construction (directional)
Since 2019, Duotone uses a more labor-intensive, multi-step vacuum process that produces a super strong, lightweight surfboard with a custom, hand-sanded finish. The most significant change in the light team construction is that Duotone no longer uses a full bamboo construction. The cork shock absorber, which was previously hidden under the bamboo deck, is now clearly visible under the deck and allows the deck to flex and absorb shock like a custom PU board with minimal to no heel denting, thanks to the underlying cork reinforcements. Super board feel in an ultra-light but durable construction!

Duotone Classic construction (directional)
The Duotone classic surfboard construction is the result of years of development to create a durable all-around strap and strapless construction that combines the best elements of flex and feel with a durable construction that has proven to be much better in strength-to-weight ratio than other available technology. NOTE: Inspired by the Light Team Construction, the bottom of the Classic Construction now features two lightweight bamboo strips and a unidirectional glass strip outside the laminate to prevent buckling.

Technora is a para-aramid fiber with excellent technical properties for high-end kitesurfboards. The technora net has high tensile strength, good resistance, and long-term shape retention, making it an ideal fiber to place on surfboards that are repeatedly exposed to high impact.
