Below you can read which models C-Skins makes for men, women and kids, which technology keeps them warm and flexible, how the brand fits for size and whether you can use a surf suit like this for kitesurfing too. If your question is more about wetsuits in general, such as which thickness you need at which water temperature or how to care for a suit, you will find that in our wetsuit guide and on the general wetsuit page. Want to know more about the brand itself and the neoprene accessories? That is on the C-Skins brand page.

Which C-Skins wetsuits are there for men?

The men's range runs from entry level to top model. The Wired sits at the top: the most technical line, made from natural rubber (NuWave) with the warmest, most flexible materials. Below that is the ReWired, the best-known C-Skins and the sweet spot for the committed rider, with a chest zip that keeps your shoulders free.

Want something a little more affordable? The Session and the lighter Session Lite offer plenty of warmth and comfort for a keener price. The Legend is the reliable all-rounder with a back zip, and the Element is the entry model: a good fit and warmth for a friendly price. The higher up the range, the lighter, warmer and more flexible the suit.

Which C-Skins wetsuits are there for women?

The women's range uses the same technology as the men's, with a cut adjusted to the female build. The ReWired is the high-performance top model here too, warm and flexible for long sessions. The Solace and the lighter Solace Lite sit below it as comfortable all-rounders at an attractive price.

The Surflite is a lighter, flexible suit that feels great in the warmer season, and the Element is the entry model for those starting out or looking for a second suit. So there is a women's wetsuit for every level and budget. Unsure about the thickness? Our wetsuit guide helps you choose by water temperature.

Which C-Skins wetsuits are there for kids?

C-Skins has a dedicated range for young riders and surfers too, with the same attention to warmth and fit. The Session and the Legend are the warmer, more complete kids' suits, while the Element is the entry model with a nice fit at a friendly price.

For the smallest ones there is the C-KID, made specially for smaller bodies that cool down quickly. A good kids' suit fits snugly enough to keep water out, so pay extra attention to fit with children. Have a look at the kids' wetsuits for the full selection.

What technology goes into a C-Skins wetsuit?

C-Skins puts its cold-water experience into the details. Halo neoprene provides warmth where it matters, while stretch material such as XTend gives you the freedom of movement to steer and jump. On the chest, the top models carry Dark Matter Liquid Skin, a layer that blocks wind and takes the wear, exactly where a riding suit gets it hardest.

In the Wired and ReWired lines, C-Skins uses natural rubber (NuWave) as a more sustainable alternative, with high-pile thermal linings that hold warmth and dry fast. Entry is via C-Skins' own Iris system. Want to know which entry system suits you in general? We explain that in the wetsuit guide.

How does a C-Skins wetsuit fit for size?

C-Skins generally fits true to size, without odd surprises. Your chest measurement and height are what count, and each model has its own size chart because the fit can differ slightly per line. If you are between two sizes, it is usually better to go down: neoprene stretches a little once it gets wet.

So always check the size chart on the product page of the model you have in mind. How a wetsuit should fit, snug and without folds or air pockets, is covered in the wetsuit guide. Prefer to try? Come by our megastore in Noordwijk and pull a few on.

Can you use a C-Skins wetsuit for kitesurfing?

Absolutely. C-Skins is a surf brand at heart, and that is exactly the advantage. Surf suits are built for cold, rough water and plenty of movement, precisely the conditions you kite in. The warmth, the stretch in the shoulders and the solid finish all work in your favour behind the kite.

Pay particular attention to the entry system: a chest zip keeps your shoulders free to steer and lets less cold water in during a crash, which sits better for kiting than a back zip. Not sure whether a specific model is suitable? Drop us a message, we kite ourselves and are happy to help you order the right model with confidence.
