Naish Pivot 2026 Q-Series Kite
One allround Naish kite for every discipline
The Pivot Kite from Naish has been an icon in the kitesurfing world for years. Known for its outstanding versatility and reliability, it now comes with several new technical improvements for even more precision, durability, and ease of use. With an updated leading edge, stronger bridle lines, and a lighter construction, this kite has everything you need. Whether you’re into Big Air, Freeride, or Wave riding, the Naish Pivot 2026 Kite has you covered, no matter your skill level! The Pivot Q Series has a leading edge blend construction for quicker steering and a huge performance boost.
One of the biggest updates is the new blended leading edge. The tips now use lighter 140 g Dacron, while the rest of the leading edge is built with stiffer 160 g Dacron. This material combination allows the tips to twist more, giving the kite faster steering and a lighter bar feel, while the main body stays stable and stiff for reliability even in strong winds. The new flex struts amplify this effect. Built from lighter materials, the struts rotate more easily during turns, making the kite smoother and more direct with a tighter turning radius, perfect for kiteloops, wave riding, and foiling.
Naish continues to use its trusted QuadTex ripstop canopy. This fabric is 4x stronger than standard canopy material, delivering stiffness and a longer lifespan while maintaining performance session after session. New for 2026 is the Trailing-Edge Flutter Dispersion: special flutter-dispersing triangles combined with 2-ply QuadTex reinforcements along the trailing edge. This reduces flutter, extends durability, and makes the kite even more stable in the air. Profile Lock seams and multiple diagonal load seams ensure the kite holds its shape and distributes loads evenly, preventing stretching or tearing over time while keeping the canopy crisp and reactive.
The bridle setup has also been upgraded. Instead of TLS 500 lines used in the 2025 model, the 2026 Pivot features SK99 bridle lines, thinner, stronger, and more aerodynamic, helping the kite fly faster and respond more precisely. The adjustable bridle system lets you optimize for high or low wind: choose high wind mode for maximum depower, or low wind mode for more pull in lighter breezes. Durability is further improved with new TPU strut bumpers, which are lighter and better at protecting against wear. The bladder cap construction with rounded aramid reinforcement at the tips and struts prevents bladder damage and allows you to safely pump the leading edge to high pressure.
The Pivot 2026 brings all these features together with medium bar pressure, a wide wind range, and super easy relaunch. This makes it a kite that’s beginner-friendly yet technical enough for advanced riders who want performance.
