The ION Seek Amp 4/3 Frontzip 2027 Wetsuit takes that job on with 4mm on your torso, 3mm on arms and legs and a zip across the chest that keeps the water out. Within the ION range the Amp line is built for riders who rate stretch as highly as warmth, and you feel that the moment you pull it on.

With a frontzip there's no zip running across your back. That whole panel is stretchy neoprene, so your shoulders can move in every direction. If you ride unhooked, throw board offs or spend a lot of time on a surfboard, that's exactly the difference you want. On top of that, less water gets in during a crash than with a backzip, which in early spring can easily buy you another half hour on the water.

Compared to the 2025 version, something has changed on your back. Where there used to be Plasma Plush 2.0, you now get Graphene Plush 2.0, the lining from the Seek Select. ION reckons on up to 20% more warmth than Plasma Plush 2.0 and a faster drying time. In a 4/3 that's the difference between cutting your March session short or riding until the wind drops.

The outside is recycled Max_Flex, ION's stretchiest outer material. It gives you noticeably more freedom of movement for the same effort, and because the material sheds water instead of soaking it up your wetsuit stays lighter during your session and dries faster on the line.
