An easy closure that turns getting suited up into a two second job with Prolimit
The Prolimit Predator 5/4 C-Zip Frontzip 2027 Wetsuit is built for kiters who don't split their season into good weather and the rest. With 5/4mm neoprene you're sorted from the moment the wind starts to bite until the water warms back up in spring. Prolimit runs the zip across your chest, so your back stays free and your shoulders keep all the room they need to hang off your bar.
For 2027, Prolimit has updated the Predator's chest and back panels. Those are exactly the surfaces that catch the most wind when you're setting up your kite or just sitting still between runs. The C-Zip is the new addition to the range as well, so next to the familiar Free-X closure and the double frontzip, the Predator now has one more entry option.
The neoprene is NaturePrene2 Oystershell, and that is not neoprene in the classic sense. Prolimit makes it from natural rubber from FSC certified plantations, 80 percent natural rubber and 20 percent recycled carbon black, enriched with oyster shell powder and soybean oil. On the water it's mainly the stretch you notice: the material follows your movement instead of the other way around.
On the outside sits Down Airflex, water repellent, quick drying and with very little windchill. On the inside you get Zodiac 2 with Velvet Airflex, a velvet fleece that pulls the water off your skin and releases it again fast. The panels are triple glued and blind stitched with water based glue, with every thread covered by tape. That keeps the seams stretchy and the water out.
On top of that there are KED knee pads, extra tough and still flexible, plus drainage holes and ankle straps. Want to get out there in the coldest weeks as well?
