The Mystic Motion 4/3 Frontzip 2027 Wetsuit gives you 4mm neoprene on your torso for the warmth and 3mm on your arms and legs for the flex, so you can get on the water early in spring and only stop when it really turns cold. Mystic gave the wetsuit a serious overhaul for 2027, with new patterns, linings and materials.

Pull it on and you feel straight away where the gains are: the Fox Fleece Ultra. This thermal lining is the softest and warmest Mystic has made so far, is built from 50% recycled material and comes with a new two-tone finish. The outside is recycled XTR stretch material that moves with you and doesn't give up easily. The 3D pattern follows the shape of your body, so less cold water ends up between you and the neoprene while you ride.

The seams are what make the difference between staying warm and chattering teeth. With GBS seams the panels are glued first and then stitched only halfway through the neoprene, so there are no holes for water to creep through. On the inside, 70% of the seams are sealed with water repellent stretch taping, solid but flexible enough to move with you. If some water does flush in during a crash, Aquaflush 2.0 lets it out but not back in.

Beyond that, the wetsuit is full of things you stop thinking about once you're on the water, which is exactly the point. The emboss behind your knee keeps bending light and smooth, the Hex-tech knee pads in 4-way Super-tex protect your knees and the non slip cuffs stay where they belong, even when everything is wet and stretched out. Your key slides into the loop of the neoprene chest pocket behind the frontzip, where it stays safe and out of the way. That same frontzip also gets you in and out in no time.
