Reedin Big E 2025 Kiteboard
Lightwind sessions with more fun and control
If you often ride in light wind, you know how frustrating it can be to just not have enough power. The Reedin Big E 2025 Kiteboard is made for exactly these moments. No struggling or dragging—just smooth riding with minimal input from your kite. This board isn’t your typical beginner model, but a clever, larger twintip for riders who want to get the most out of lightwind days. From the moment you put it on the water, you’ll feel how easily the Reedin Big E planes. The updated rocker line is slightly flatter than average, helping you get going faster. Combined with the new lighter layup, the difference is immediately noticeable. You barely need to build pressure to ride upwind, and you stay stable even in choppy conditions. Perfect for long sessions in low wind. The Paulownia wood core gives the board natural flex, which feels great in chop or on harder landings. Thanks to Reedin’s TRIAX fiberglass construction, the board also maintains enough stiffness to translate your input directly into motion. A central sandwich stringer adds extra torsional stiffness in the middle of the board, helping you maintain grip when riding more aggressively. Along the rail, subtle channels provide added hold, especially in turns or when catching a landing. The board also features an offset fin position. It might seem like a small detail, but it makes a big difference. Since the fins are placed slightly inward, they stay in contact with the water longer—resulting in more grip and easier upwind riding, even with minimal wind pressure.
What really sets the Big E apart from the Super E is its purpose. While the Super E is all about all-round performance in a variety of conditions, the Big E is fully focused on lightwind performance. The shape is longer and wider, with rounded tips and a redesigned outline optimized to get up and glide quickly with minimal power. Still, the Big E stays true to the playful and accessible character we know from Reedin.
What’s the best thing about the Big E? It just feels right from the first ride. No need to get used to it—you just hop on and go. Whether you're just getting started or you’ve been riding for years, this board gives you a stable and playful ride with plenty of room for progression on low-wind days.
