A frontzip gets you more than just staying drier. With no zip running across your back, that whole panel is stretchy neoprene. Your shoulders rotate more freely, which you notice when you unhook, when you go for a handle pass and simply when you're steering your bar through a long session. Getting in takes a bit more effort than with a backzip, but that's a matter of technique: shoulders through first, then the flap over your head.

The 2025 version of the Seek Amp 5/4 had Plasma Plush 2.0 on the back panel. This model has switched to Graphene Plush 2.0, the same lining the Seek Select became known for. Stuck between 5/4mm and 4/3mm? If you kite mostly in winter or you get cold quickly, go for the 5/4. If you're mainly on the water in spring and autumn, the 4/3 is more supple. That said, the recycled Max_Flex outer lining makes this 5/4 feel less stiff than you'd expect from this thickness. Max_Flex doesn't absorb water but sheds it, so your wetsuit stays lighter and dries faster.
