Flexible 3/2 wetsuit with an easy back zip from Prolimit
Keen to get on the water quickly without fiddling about in the car park? Then the Prolimit Ace Steamer V-Zip 3/2 Wetsuit is exactly what you need. The zip runs vertically down your back, in other words a back zip, and that is still the easiest way to get in and out of your wetsuit. The opening is nice and wide: you step in, pull the zip closed and you are ready to go. After your session it drops back down in a matter of seconds. In the Ace, Prolimit gives you exactly the features you need, at a price that barely stings.
The 3/2mm thickness makes the Ace Steamer the suit for spring right through to autumn, when the sun is coming through and the water has warmed up a little. There is 3mm material around your torso for warmth, with 2mm on your arms and legs so your arms stay free and you are not fighting your suit while steering or going for a board off.
The material is Airflex 500+ NaturePrene2. This rubber comes from FSC-certified rubber trees and is 100% neoprene free, yet it still gives you the same stretch, insulation and lifespan. Thanks to the soft Airflex lining on the inside, the Ace feels supple from the very first session and stretches with you instead of working against you.
The panels of the Ace Steamer are triple glued and blind stitched with GBS seams. With this technique the needle does not go all the way through the material, so hardly any water gets in through the seams. Every thread end is finished with tape, which keeps your seams neat even after a full season. The gluing is done with water-based glue, kind to your skin and better for the environment.
