The 6/5mm thickness, the hooded design and the super warm lining work together so you can keep going longer, even when the wind is biting and the water is freezing.
The name says it all: extra warm. With 6/5mm neoprene, 6mm on the torso and 5mm on the arms and legs, this is a proper winter suit. The hooded design keeps the heat where you lose it fastest, namely through your head. Thanks to the horizontal front zip you get in and out easily, and just as important, far less cold water gets in compared to a back zip. That way you avoid that annoying flush when you crash.
Warmth alone isn't enough, you also want to move freely. That's why the Elite Xtra Warm is made from supple Stretch Flight Eco neoprene with stretchy Champion Stretch material on the outside. On the inside you'll find a Primaloft Warm lining. This insulating lining, known from warm outdoor jackets, traps your body heat and dries quickly afterwards. The result is a suit that keeps you warm without feeling stiff or bulky.
The seams make or break a winter suit. On the Elite Xtra Warm they're finished on the outside with a Power Seam and reinforced on the inside with NNT tape and Melco spot tape on the highest stress points. This combination keeps the water out and lasts a long time. Nice bonus: Roxy uses recycled materials and water based Aqua Alpha glue, so your suit is a lot more environmentally friendly too.
