The Jaime has been a permanent fixture in Duotone's twintip line-up for years. The Duotone Jaime SLS 2027 kiteboard is designed for advanced riders who want to get plenty of speed, grip and pop out of their board. An important feature of the Jaime SLS is the Double Rocker Line Concept. This double rocker line helps the board maintain plenty of grip when edging hard. As a result, you can build pressure for longer before takeoff and decide exactly when the board releases from the water. Especially for powered freestyle and big air, this gives you extra control during takeoff.

New for 2027 is an additional reinforcement patch in the board. This reinforcement provides more pop and reduces reverse flex. When you edge hard, you want the board to maintain its shape as effectively as possible. The less the board bends in the wrong direction, the more tension you can carry into your takeoff. The Double Diffusor Bottom and double concave previously added to the Jaime SLS are also featured on the 2027 model. The bottom shape helps the board ride quickly across the water and makes hard landings easier to control. As a result, the Jaime remains comfortable to ride despite its stiff and direct character.

For the construction, Duotone uses a combination of Biax Carbon and Textreme Innegra. The Biax Carbon gives the board its fast and direct response, while Textreme Innegra helps reduce vibrations and prevents the board from feeling overly nervous. This keeps the Jaime SLS feeling precise at high speeds without becoming unnecessarily unsettled under your feet. Even when the water gets choppier, the Jaime maintains plenty of grip. The deep rails and Angled Fins provide extra hold during hard takeoffs and fast carves. During landings, the Double Diffusor Bottom helps distribute impact and keeps the board stable.
