The Duotone Extension Back Lines are extensions that act as a connector between the back line and the kite. This increases the total length of the back line.

The back lines are your steering lines that run along the left and right side of the bar. They extend from the ends of the bar to the tips of the kite and allow you to steer your kite. With the Duotone Extension Back Lines the total length of the back line increases.
This extra length gives your kite more power in light wind conditions because the kite can use a larger wind window. Keep in mind that the kite will react a little slower and feel less direct. These extensions are ideal when you want a bit more low end from your kite. The kite also becomes more stable which is perfect for beginners.
The Duotone Extension Back Lines are made from high quality Flite 99 material. This extremely strong line material offers minimal stretch. Flite 99 is known for its excellent durability and resistance to shrinkage.
