The Bandit S has been given a new diameter this year by using 24 sections. The new diameter ensures that the kite is easier to maneuver and control. Also, the Bandit S has become lighter without losing a bit of strength by using Dacron 130gr Double Ripstop on the Leading Edge. It not only makes the kite lighter, but also more responsive and the kite naturally feels lighter. Kevlar reinforcement has been used to additionally reinforce the Leading Edge seams (no, you do not have a bulletproof kite). The tips of the Leading Edge have been reduced in diameter, which reduces drag and prevents the bridle from tangling. In addition, the kite can be set completely to your own preference at the tips. New 135gr Dacron has been used for the Trailing Edge and the panels have been doubled and placed vertically. The big advantage is that the fabric structure is now in the pulling direction, so that the kite deformes less and the kite is stiffer. You can feel this stiffness in fast turns and the kite is easier to ride in strong winds.
