The ION Riot Curv 2024 is a hardshell waist harness and falls under the category of medium-stiff harnesses with a flex index of 14/20. Its moderate stiffness provides ample freedom of movement, allowing you to easily pass the bar behind your back during freestyle tricks or follow the wave's contours while wave riding, all without being hindered by your harness. If the wind suddenly picks up, the still relatively stiff shell provides the necessary support to control significant power, allowing you to go for full-powered kiteloops.

The ION Riot Curv 2024 utilizes ION's 3D Fit technology, ensuring a perfect fit for riders of all body sizes. Recognizing that the right fit depends on both back length and waist circumference, ION has developed standard and long sizes to accommodate all body shapes. Refer to the size chart to find your perfect fit! The Ergo Pads are back for 2024, offering interchangeable cushions on the inside of the harness contoured to the curve of your back. The harness comes with two different cushion sizes—try both to determine which is most comfortable for your personal preference. The Curv construction ensures a lightweight design, and thanks to the non-water-absorbing Hyper_Foam, the harness remains lightweight even when wet. The improved neoprene belt with Velcro provides more flexibility, maneuverability, and overall comfort, ideal for wave and freestyle kiteboarding. The harness comes complete with the Spectre Spreader Bar, which evenly distributes the kite's power across the entire spreader bar. Thanks to the excellent Curv Flaps, the spreader bar won't ride up or tilt much. Finally, the ION Team Series is supplied with a safety knife for additional safety.
