The outline of the board is slightly straighter, which results in more speed and better edge hold.

The bottom shape of the Shotgun Air features a single concave with channels towards the tips, 6 instead of 4 on the original Shotgun. Including a rail channel, this gives your board more grip in the middle when riding heelside. This shaping provides a balance of speed and control. The channels help you cut through chop with stability and give you extra grip exactly when you need it, during takeoff.
