He is finally here, the long-awaited hardshell from Manera: the Manera Eclipse 2019! there has been worked on for years and the result is awesome! At first glance it is immediately obvious that the Manera Eclipse is a hardshell harness with a super 'clean' look. The Manera Eclipse is a hardshell harness with which Manera has sought the balance between stiffness and flex, for support and freedom of movement where you need it. In addition, the Manera Eclipse is one of the lightest hardshell kitesurf harness available!

The most important part of a hardshell harness is the rigid plate around which the harness is constructed. Manera has opted for an 'Adaptive Shell' with the Eclipse 2019 hardshell harness. This plate has different degrees of stiffness. From super stiff in the middle of the harness on the back to slightly less stiff to the edges and ends of the Manera Eclipse 2019. The result is that the edges feel a little smoother and you can use all your back muscles in the middle of the harness to push the limits in strong winds!

A fine and comfortable padding shouldn't be missed with a good harness like the Manera Eclipse. The Manera Eclipse is fully equipped on the inside with a one-piece, layer of 'Gel Foam'. It feels like you're fastening a pillow around your waist when you put on the Manera Eclipse harness. The gel foam adapts to your body and therefore the harness stays in place.

Manera has invented a number of handy systems to keep the spreader bar in place. The spreaderbar ends are made of a long and solid material which is completely integrated in the Manera Eclipse. In addition, the attatchmend to which the straps are attached to is asymmetrical, which ensures that the spreader bar is pulled down, and the spreader bar does not pull up when you are kitesurfing.
