Eclipse 2020 Hardshell harness
Adaptive hardshell kitesurf harness from Manera
The Manera Eclipse 2020 is a hardshell harness that adapts to your your body. Manera has long been working on ergonomic designs for their hardshell harness. The starting point was a harness with better support for your back and a low fit. Something 100% hard was not an option, every body is different and the harness must be able to adjust to that. The result is the Eclipse 2020 hardshell harness. A fine balance between stiffness and flex that offers you support and freedom of movement where necessary.
The Eclipse 2020 harness is made up of three important parts. The Adaptive shell, Gel Foam and the Tuck Flap.
The Adaptive shell is a hard plate that forms the basis of the Eclipse 2020 hardshell harness. The stiffness of the adaptive shell differs. The back plate is super stiff in the middle and becomes more flexible towards the sides. This gives you freedom of movement, for example, on your ribs and in your side, but super good support in the back.
The adaptive shell is provided with a super thick, soft and comfortable gel foam padding which takes on the shape of your body. The gel foam feels like a cushion and prevents rashes or uncomfortable sliding of the harness.
The Tuck Flap system at the ends of the spreader bar enter your harness and ensure that your spreader bar always stays in place. The down hold system has been developed to support the Tuck Flap system. This is an asymmetrical mounting system that pulls the spreader bar down when attaching. This way your Manera Eclipse 2020 harness will not crawl up that fast.
