The North Atmos Ultra 2026 Kiteboard is the newest and lightest addition to the Atmos series, a true Rolls Royce among freeride boards. Weighing in at just 1.8 kg (138x41), this board is made for long sessions and smooth carving through chop. Unlike the other boards in the Atmos range, it’s not built for hard landings, it’s all about control, comfort, and an incredibly lightweight feel underfoot. According to the designers at North, it’s one of the most comfortable kiteboards they’ve ever built.

The core consists of dual-density AirLite foam, keeping weight to a minimum. Denser foam under the heels reinforces the core to resist compression. A 3DY Paulownia wood load frame efficiently transfers force from your bindings to the rails and absorbs impact, perfect when riding through chop or carving. The new Ultra Carbon lay-up includes five types of carbon, including 3K woven, 12K spread tow, and high-modulus fibers. These layers are smartly distributed to deliver the ideal balance between stiffness and flex, giving the board a forgiving, controlled ride without ever feeling sluggish. This unique flex balance makes the board both stable and super easy to control.

On the bottom, a double concave with deep V-spine slices cleanly through the water. Channels along the rails and tips add extra stability and tracking, especially helpful for upwind riding. The medium rocker combined with a medium-high outline delivers the perfect mix of playfulness and predictability, giving you a smooth and flowing ride feel.
