The built-in Meta AI works through voice commands. Simply say "Hey Meta" to request real-time information, start a video recording, or have your session stats read out loud, completely hands-free. The 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 122° field of view captures everything from your perspective, exactly as you see it. From backrolls to your first kiteloops, you'll never miss a moment. Through the Meta AI app, you can instantly combine your Garmin fitness data or Strava statistics with your videos and photos, allowing you to relive and share your sessions in a completely new way.

On the water, grip and stability are essential. The nose pads of the Oakley Meta Vanguard are made from Unobtanium, a material that provides more grip as you sweat. In principle, the sunglasses stay securely in place, even after a hard crash or when hit by spray. We do recommend purchasing a retainer strap to minimize the risk of losing your sunglasses. The IP67 rating provides extra confidence: the sunglasses are resistant to sweat, dust, and water exposure, exactly what you need at the kitesurf spot. The open-ear speakers and 5-microphone array built into the temples are designed to deliver clear, powerful sound at wind speeds of up to 48 km/h, so even on a windy day you'll still hear your music or Meta AI instructions clearly. After a wipeout, the speakers may temporarily contain water and sound less clear. In that case, simply use the water removal function.

The Oakley sunglasses feature Prizm lenses. These lenses are specifically designed to enhance colours and contrast, allowing you to see more clearly on the water, in bright sunlight, and in changing light conditions. The battery lasts up to 9 hours under normal use, and the included charging case provides an additional 36 hours on the go. From an early morning session until you're packing up at the beach.
