The SafeTrx watch was developed in collaboration with the KNRM and the customizable communication platform from Sony. The SafeTrx watch offers advanced protection in the heaviest conditions. To make your session as safe as possible, the SafeTrx watch enables you to activate emergency alerts (when needed). These emergency alerts are sent directly to emergency contacts and search and rescue services such as the KNRM. The watch displays accurate, real-time locating capabilities, allowing rescue services to get you to safety faster than ever before and get you back on the beach in no time! The searchlight option allows selected emergency contacts to see exactly your location for a self-reliant rescue.The SafeTrx watch is user-friendly thanks to its clear and simplified display. Thanks to Long Distance Connectivity 4G/5G LTE-M with built-in global eSIM, the watch always stays connected and you don't need a phone to use the watch. Thanks to the extended battery, the watch lasts up to 7 hours with full tracking per second! The watch is waterproof, robust and lightweight for optimal durability. In addition to safety, the SafeTrx watch can also be used in combination with Strava to capture the best session and share it with your friends and family.
To access full SafeTrx Active protection, a SafeTrx subscription plan is required to connect the watch to the security services. Subscriptions are only available for the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland.
