With a board, you usually only go looking for a part when something is missing or broken: a fin left behind on a sandbank, a strap that tears or a handle that comes loose. For Cabrinha twintips like the Spectrum and the Ace, you can get separate fins, fin screws and grab handles, as well as complete Cabrinha pads and straps. Fins and screws differ by board and model year, so include the model and length of your board with your order. A few spare fin screws in your bag are never a bad idea. On a Cabrinha kite surfboard you work with fin boxes and traction pads instead of straps, so you'll need different parts there.

Which Cabrinha bar spare parts you need depends on which generation of bar you have, because parts from different Cabrinha systems aren't interchangeable. The quickest way to identify your bar is to look at how it connects to your harness. The Overdrive bar comes in two versions: with a Quickloop, a chicken loop that also lets you ride unhooked, or with a Fireball, the choice of many wave and airstyle riders. Next, look at the trim. With Trimlite, you set the power with a single line through a cleat. With Recoil, you depower with the orange line and add power with the black one, while springs push the bar back towards you. The C.O.S. (Cabrinha Operating System) has a push-click quick release, a Trimlite with an elastic trim line and a connection you can swap without tools. Then there's the Unify from 2026. Its quick release clicks back in place by pushing the loop back after you've released it, and it comes in 48 cm for kites of roughly 5 to 10 metres and 53 cm for 10 to 17 metres.

Once you know which system you have, you know which parts you can replace. The depower main line is a typical wear part, because it slides through the bar and the cleat every time you trim. For Trimlite bars from 2018 to 2022, the main line is available separately, as are the C.O.S. loop kit, single rear lines and a 2 m extension set. That extension set comes in handy, because the length of your lines changes how your kite flies. The C.O.S. comes with 18 m lines, a 4 m extension and an extra 2 m extension, so you can choose between 18, 20, 22 and 24 metres. The Unify comes with 22 m lines and 2 m extensions. Shorter lines make your kite more direct in strong wind, longer lines give you more pull when it's lighter.
