The Rebel SLS 2022 is a beefed version of the standard Duotone Rebel. Forget what you knew about the Rebel and let the new Duotone Rebel SLS surprise you. The SLS construction of the Duotone Rebel consists of a Penta TX leading edge and two Flex Struts. Due to this SLS construction, the Rebel SLS is 15% lighter than a standard Rebel. In addition, the Penta TX is 50% stiffer than standard Dacron, which means that the Rebel SLS steers remarkably faster. The fast steering behavior is also due to the Flex Struts. The Flex Struts ensure that the stiff and light Rebel SLS can still deform enough to ensure the faster steering behavior that the Rebel SLS has to offer. Of course, the canopy of the Rebel SLS 2022 is still made from the Duotone-exclusive Trinity TX canopy fabric.

The light weight and stiffer construction of the Rebel SLS adds a lot to the performance of the Rebel. In less wind you will notice that the large sizes Rebel SLS feel much more playful and have a better low-end. A 12 jumps very easily because of this and gives you a huge hang time. When the wind picks up, the small sizes of Duotone Rebel SLS come to life. Faster steering means harder take-off, even more boost and hangtime than the Rebel has ever had. Kitelooping with a Rebel? Previously that could be tricky, but with the Rebel SLS that is no problem. The stiff SLS frame ensures a fast loop, in combination with the light weight, the Rebel SLS climbs back up surprisingly quickly to catch you. Compared to the previous version of the Rebel, the Rebel SLS has received a little more bar pressure. This is very nice, because you get good feedback from the Rebel SLS and you always know where the kite is. If you want to adjust the bar pressure and the steering behavior of the Duotone Rebel SLS 2022 kite, this is no problem.
