Buy older model kites
If you want to start kitesurfing and don't want to spend too much, it's best to buy an older model kite. These kites are brand new and offer you all the advantages of a new kite. The kites are reliable, safe, and last for years. If you buy a used kite, you also don't always know how well the previous owner took care of the kite. And the story that it belonged to an old lady usually doesn't apply to a kite or a kiteboard...
Each kite brand releases a new kite model every year or every two years. This keeps the market fresh and ensures our sport continues to develop. For you, this is a great opportunity to buy an older model kite. When buying an older model kite, you should pay attention to a few important aspects. Not all kites fit all bars. So make sure you have the right bar that fits your kite. We usually indicate which bar fits the kites.
